Introductory Classes
Intro to Yoga Workshop:
- Intro workshop: $60
- Four Week Enrollment Class
- Limited to 14 people.
Brand new to yoga? Four week enrollment series
that will give you a thorough introduction to the principles of
yoga, breathing techniques, stretching postures and deep relaxation
in a fun, stress-free environment. Step-by-step instructions,
demonstration and individual attention will make you feel at ease
while providing you with the tools you need to modify poses to be
more or less challenging.

Yoga Classes
- Classes are 75 minutes in length, unless otherwise specified.
- Limited
to 14 people.

Yoga I:
Designed for the beginning
yoga student as well as more experienced practitioners who are looking
to slow down and deepen their practice. You will learn the fundamentals
of yoga and build a solid foundation of basic yoga postures. Each class
will cover the principles of proper alignment in the poses, breathing
to energize and refresh, deep relaxation and how the philosophy of
yoga can support you in everyday life.
Prerequisite: None required, although
we recommend starting with our Intro to Yoga series, Intro to Yoga
workshop, or one private session.

Yoga II:
This class for intermediate and advanced students will emphasize
strength, stamina and mindfulness. The poses learned in Level I are explored
more in depth and more challenging postures are introduced, including
inversions. Special attention is paid to discovering how breath work
can support you in a pose and practicing the connection between the physical
and energetic body. This class will include more transitions between
poses for a more active practice.
Prerequisite: At least 20-30 classes
or 6 months at the beginner level.

Yoga Mixed Levels:
A mixed-level class where ample variations and modifications are given
to allow students to practice at their own level. You'll continue to
deepen your body awareness, practice safe alignment and explore your
edge while honoring how your body feels that day.
Prerequisite: None, but the Intro to Yoga
Series is recommended.

Flow Yoga:
This is a challenging, active class designed to
build strength, stamina and flexibility while providing a balanced
full-body workout. Perfect for those who want to enjoy yoga in a
powerful, expressive way.
Prerequisite: No experience required, but this class
is intended for individuals who wish to work vigorously.

Gentle Yoga:
Six-week enrollment class. Ideal for students who have
injuries or health concerns, as well as beginners who prefer their exploration
of yoga to happen at a slower pace. In addition to a warm-up sequence
and standing and seated poses, this class will incorporate more restorative
poses for a calm and meditative practice. Ample modifications will be
given and individual needs will be consistently addressed.

Prenatal Yoga (60 min.):
An all-levels class for pregnant women, where
the poses and breathing techniques are chosen to help prepare you physically
and emotionally for labor, delivery and beyond. Reduce stress, relieve
the discomforts of pregnancy and develop confidence in your changing
body, all while enjoying community with other moms-to-be in a supportive
and nurturing environment.
Prerequisite: Physician’s permission
required, but no prior yoga experience is necessary.

Mommy & Me Yoga (60 min.): (Not
currently offered)
For moms and their infants, age 6 weeks
to active crawling. Moms get the benefit of strengthening their abdominals
and reclaiming their bodies while spending quality time with their budding
yogi or yogini and with other new moms.

Pilates & Yoga Combo: (Not
currently offered)
The best of both worlds! This
energizing class combines a core-conditioning Pilates mat workout with
a stretching and centering-oriented mini-yoga class. Discover how the
two disciplines complement each other to enhance your life on all levels.

Small Group Classes
Abs and Stretch:
Increase your flexibility and tone those abs! Flexibility is a critical
aspect of fitness that is often neglected due to boredom, discomfort, or
lack of motivation. This class will lead you through a variety of
stretching methods to improve and extend your range of movement at the
joints, reducing future risk of injury and improving muscular
performance. The exercises will be adapted to accommodate individual
needs, even if you haven't been able to touch your toes in years! We'll
also work to improve your core strength and find those six-pack abs!
Prerequisite: None.
Core and More:
This class is the perfect way to change up your pilates or yoga
routine and develop more tone and muscular definition. A fun and
versatile combination of strength training, cardio, and abdominal work
is sure to give your body some new challenges while building stronger
bones and a healthier heart. Explore what your body can do and more!

Class reservations and appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance or you will be charged.

Late arrivals will be admitted to class after the initial centering portion of the class is completed.
