Massage Therapy
Josh Simonds
Josh is a licensed massage therapist with more than 20 years of active practice. Josh’s initial interest in massage began in 1986, when he got certified in the Swedish massage techniques. Despite a handful of other trainings, the art and practice of Swedish massage will always remain the basis and foundation for Josh’s practice.
In life we all follow a path to our passions -- Josh's was paved with sports accomplishments. Racing bicycles and participating in sports led him to develop an approach for massage which is best described as supporting a healthy and educated lifestyle.
When you are in Josh's care, you will discover how your past, present and future activities in sports, yoga, pilates and simple daily life have a significant impact on your health and well-being. It is his belief that a careful focus on learning why some aches, pains and imbalances occur will provide you with the tools you need to improve and live well through informed decisions.

Acupuncture
Peter Liebenthal
Peter Liebenthal has been exposed to acupuncture since childhood, as his grandmother was the first famous acupuncturist in Argentina. Since starting a daily Qi Gong routine at age 19, he has been fascinated with Qi (life-energy). This fascination, combined with a strong desire to help people, led him to study Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. His never-ending thirst for knowledge has led him to train extensively outside of school. He has apprenticed with master acupuncturists in China and Boston, and spent 3 months studying Chinese herbs in a hospital in Taiwan. He has also studied with several Qi Gong masters in China and California.
Peter is comfortable using Chinese, Taiwanese, Five Element and Japanese style acupuncture and will tailor his treatment for each individual. He mainly uses a Japanese style of acupuncture that integrates traditional Asian theory with modern Western Medical knowledge. With this highly effective style, he finds painful points on the body and then instantly releases them with corresponding distal points.
Peter feels lucky to have discovered this 4,000-year old holistic medicine and truly loves and appreciates the opportunity to help patients on their path towards healing and well-being. He will do whatever he can to assist them in this process, which may include herbal prescriptions, qi gong exercises as well as dietary and lifestyle advice.
Cost:
Initial Session: $110 for 90 minutes
Regular Sessions: $90 for 60 minutes
Peter is currently offering free 15-minute Initial Consultations to conduct diagnostic testing and see what acupuncture can do for you.
